Advisory Committees
In order to help build relationships between the Credit Union and the local police services our branches serve, Advisory Committees have been established for each branch. The members of these committees have initially been chosen from among our existing Liaison Officers, however, as the program expands we will draw on a cross section of our membership to include active police officers, senior officers, civilian employees, retirees and youth who reside or work within geographic proximity to a branch.
Each committee meets semi-annually with its respective branch manager and corporate management. There is an all committees meeting annually, which the Board of Directors attends. The term of participation is three years and on a voluntary basis. The purpose of the Advisory Committees is to:
- provide input to management and the Board of Directors on how to improve product and service offerings,
- act as a focus/test group for the introduction of proposed new products, services, or fees,
- bring member concerns to the attention of the Credit Union, and
- choose our local charitable donation recipient.
