Co-operative Young Leaders Camp Experience
Co-operative Young Leaders is a summer experience unlike any other. This week-long camp brings young people together from all across Ontario to learn about, and practice, communication and leadership through co-operative activities. Since its inception in 1967 to its 43rd year in 2010, more than 2800 young people have gone through Ontario co-operative young leaders programs.
Every summer, Ontario credit unions and co-ops give 200 young people a chance to attend Co-operative Young Leaders. CYL is a program of the Ontario Co-operative Association.
All spaces are filled for summer 2012. Please apply again next year.
For your opportunity to attend camp, complete the application form and submit online.

I recently went to CYL camp. I was in Junior C with 29 other 14 and 15 year olds. After a week with those other 14 and 15 year olds we became a family. Everyone got to know everyone. With all the activities it was very easy to get to know each other. This one activity we did was great to get to know each other! We spent a full hour on just talking about our life and things we stress about. We were in small groups of three so you wouldn't have to tell everyone and it's more comfortable.
