BENEFITS AND FEATURES

• If you're off work for more than 30 days due to accident or illness, CUMIS Life will make your loan payments until you return to work or the contracted term is complete (maximum 120 months)
• The premiums for disability coverage are very inexpensive
• For loans, premiums are included in your regular loan payments
• Claims are tax-free and paid in addition to any other insurance company protection you may carry

Mortgages: Disability, Critical Illness and Loss of Employment 
For total security against unforeseen circumstances, your Credit Union offers disability and job loss insurance to protect your family and your home.

In the event of an accident, illness or employment termination, your mortgage payments will be made on your behalf. For just pennies a day you’ll have peace of mind knowing your family won’t have to worry about the financial obligation of paying your mortgage. 

Premiums are quoted at the time of your application.

BENEFITS AND FEATURES

• In the event of disability or job loss, your mortgage payments will be paid on your behalf up to a maximum of $2,500 per month for 24 months (per claim) up to and including age 65
• Joint coverage available
• Coverage available for all members who have a life insured mortgage at the Credit Union, from age 18 up to and including age 64
• Group Mortgage Insurance available – helps protect your family and assets
