I have been a member of the Toronto Police Service since 1995 and a member of the Police Credit Union since 1996. During this time, I have witnessed the invaluable impact The Police Credit Union has had on the financial well-being of its members, fostering a sense of community and trust. These principles align with my personal values, motivating me to take an active role in supporting and advancing the credit union's mission.
The Police Credit Union’s slogan ‘taking care of our own’ is something I strive to do on a daily basis in my role as the Acting Staff Superintendent of East Field Command for the Toronto Police Service. Our members are our greatest asset and have to be regarded as such.
I am particularly interested in collaborating with the current board members to address challenges, explore opportunities for growth, and ensure that the Police Credit Union continues to provide exceptional financial services to its members.
I have a Bachelor of Applied Arts – Justice Studies from Guelph Humber University and Police Foundations Leadership with Honours from Humber College. During my tenure as a police officer, I have continued to seek out educational opportunities and have taken many courses such as the Senior Police Administrative Course at the Canadian Police College and the Advanced Leadership Development Program at York University Shulick. I look forward to continuing my growth and learning while taking the mandated courses required for serving on the Board of Directors.
My husband, Jamie Clark, is also a police officer and has been a member of the Police Credit Union since 1996. We have three boys ages 18, 16 and 13.
Thank you for considering my candidacy. I am eager to bring my skills and dedication to the Board and work collaboratively to advance The Police Credit Union.
